History: Margery Little was born in Essex in England to two doting parents and a bushel of brothers and sisters. She went to school and excelled in her studies but by high school, decided that she wanted to enter Chef school. At first her parents didn't like that she was throwing away her perfectly good academic marks, but soon changed their minds whole-heartedly when they tasted her cooking.
All was going well until her final year of school when she was run over by a drunk driver while coming back to her dorm form study hall. Her left leg was severely crushed. At the hospital, the doctors gave her the choice of having her leg amputated or getting metal implants. As a child, Margery's parents always taught her to accept everyone no matter their differences, so she never saw any problem with being a cyborg and wanted badly to keep her independence. Despite her family's protests, Margery had several metal bones inserted. Fortunately, her family loved her dearly, and this bond kept them from hating her or severing their ties with her, although their relationship was always strained afterwords, out of fear for her safety. Realizing the risks involved with being a cyborg, Margery hid her injury and the scars by wearing loose pants and long skirts and dresses while still at school. After graduating at the top of her class, Margery returned home and began looking into starting her own business. She eventually settled on a meat pie shop since meat pies were her best dish, and began looking for place to open her shop in. Unfortunately, during that time, an uncle, who was very anti cyborg came stay with them for a few weeks and Margery and her family struggled to keep her condition secret. A week before the uncle was do to leave, Margery finally found suitable property, which also came with a room above. She immediately moved in and began renovations. A year later, her shop opened and has been a resounding success ever since. Mean while, Margery kept a very close eye on Cyborg underground movements, looking for ways to help them, including hiding refugees and working as a spy. Her family is unaware of this aspect of her life as Margery does not want them to worry about her.
Example
Margery rolled out of bed as she felt the sun's rays hit her eyes. It was time to get ready and start the baking before opening. Still half-asleep, she stumbled to her dresser and put on a long lavender skirt and and a light, white blouse. She slipped on her glasses, which were on top of the dresser and took the hair ribbon that was beside them, using it to tie her hair into a bun. Margery then proceeded to stumble down the stairs and turn the coffee pot on as she took the night's baking from the freezer and popped all the pies into the oven for the morning customers. As soon as the coffee was done, she filled a mug and drank it down quickly, although it scalded her throat terribly. She was awake and alert immediately. She then proceeded to make a huge batch of dough for the lunch pies as the breakfast batch simmered in the oven.
She pounded the dough with her hands, which were powder-white with flour. She kneaded the dough over and over for at least five minutes before she set it in a bowl to let it rise. Margery poured herself more coffee and took a seat on a stool by the front window, and watched as the city began to wake up. Windows flicked from black to yellow, people huddled in bathrobes came out to pick up news papers while others shooed out pets or hooked them up to leashes for their morning walk. Margery loved watching these little scenes every morning, wondering how much hate was in the hearts of all her neighbours, wondering what they would do to her, if they found out who she really was....
