Description
Pictured on the right... let's say the one on the left is his younger brother.
General Appearance:Adel is tall, and his body is lightly muscled. His features contrast his masculine face shape with more effeminate blue eyes. His dark brown hair is grown out barely above his shoulders and lightly curly. He usually wears darker clothing, but it's always comfortable. Scarves are a common accessory despite the weather, as well as multiple bracelets.
Height:6'1"
Personality:Adel comes off as a very kind person, perhaps a bit gentle and modest. There isn't much that bothers him, and he doesn't seem to have a temper. More willing to help others, he doesn't talk about himself often unless he's asked. His kindness stems mainly from the personality he's gotten used to displaying while working, being kind to customers. Getting to know him, or in a casual enviroment, he can come off as more lazy and absent minded. He isn't impartial to people acting "familiar" with him, like touching or hugging. He has a talent for getting what he wants in a round-a-bout way.
When it comes to relationships he can be different. While if somebody flirts with him he's likely not to notice, he will flirt with others. Most people wouldn't know that behind his seemingly innocent face he can think some perverted things. There are aspects of him that suggest he's more than a happy idiot, like when asked his opinion on current issues. He can be serious at those times, but he seems to be hopeless about the current state of the world.

History:Born as the first child to a considerably wealthy couple, Adel had a healthy childhood. His parents were technically never married, and his father had made children with other women in the past. He was close to his three older half brothers when he could manage to see them. However, he lived with his mother for most of his life. In a particularly long period when he hadn't seen his father, his mother got a call that he had died. Adel wasn't struck by it as hard as he should have been. He did cry, but beyond one time he didn't let it affect his childhood. His mother, however, was much more deeply hurt. She became more bitter and easily angered, though she still lover her son there were times that she snapped at him for little things. She was a wonderful cook though, and inspired his interest in baking from watching her.
Later in life, his mother hooked up with another man. This one was annoying to Adel and cause him grief, but through this man his younger brother, Isaiah, was born. Adel adored his younger brother and gladly took care of him when his mother asked him to. By the time Isaiah was older, Adel was in a car accident with his mother's boyfriend. They had an arguement which distracted the older male from his driving. The boyfriend was killed but Adel survived with a badly damaged body, especially his right forearm, which had completely crushed bones. Metal bones were put in to save the limb, as well as a visible metal joint on his elbow to allow it to move properly. Adel's mother was furious when Adel told her the truth about how the accident happened. Combined with fact her first son was now a cyborg, she shunned him and forbid Isaiah from seeing him. Adel was at the right age to live on his own, so he found a job at a small bakery in the Little Bazaar. The bakery was also a shop that catered secretly to cyborgs. Because Adel wasn't into hiding the fact, it was easy for him to get a job there. He did start hiding it as a worker, which was easy enough. In that buisness, he met many cyborgs, including Erasmus "Fern" who he lives with in Bennet Apartments. His brother at age eighteen is now more independent and occasionally visits Adel with small sums of money.
Example
It wasn't the first time Iokua had been to a 'club'. One may or may not be able to guess that the oarfish was quite the social character back in Hawaii. However, none of the clubs he tended to return to were as big as this one. Who knew if they even counted as clubs, maybe they were just bars. He didn't particularly care for giant groups of people regardless. Especially while they were all gyrating against each other in a huge mass. Stepping in, he kept his head low, almost as if he was nervous. But he kept his silver eyes wide and alert, watching the dancers. The seemingly blank expression was altered slightly by a smirk curling on the edge of the man's lips.
For a while he stayed like that, off to the side like a wallflower. Hands slid along the side of his pants, attempting to slink into his pockets. He found, for likely the tenth time today, the large rings he wore on just about all of his fingers caused some strain. Laughing softly, he tilted his head back and peered up at the ceiling. A figure settling beside him took his attention. It was a guy a bit younger than him, looking fatigued... likely from dancing. He didn't get enough time to take in anything else about him, because it only took that moment for the guy to flash him a strange look and wander off.
He was barely affected by the look, but decided to move away anyhow. He didn't plan to stay for any amount of long time. Pushing off the wall, he sauntered closer to the bar with thoughts of getting a drink. He'd leave unless he wanted to check out the basement. He'd been here before but hadn't left this floor. He never knew why precisely. If there was only somebody he... knew.
Iokua slowed down, but didn't stop, when he noticed a familiar face. Or familiar hair, rather. The list of people he knew old enough to be here with short green hair was rather limited, mind. Even while green hair wasn't entirely uncommon by itself back at the school. But they weren't quite on school premises, so he could only hope. He caught Tenzing right when she seemed to be ordering something, and slowly moved up beside her. Leaning one of his hands heavily on the bar in front on him, he rolled his head around. It stopped, tilted slightly, turned to look at her. Silent for just a second, he wasn't always masterful at coming up with clever things in an instant. "Oh, Zing zing," Iokua started playfully, toying with his flatmate's nickname for her. "What a joy to see you here, I thought I'd have to spend my night all on my own. Can I join you?" His tone was less 'excited' than his words, as per normal. It could almost be taken for sarcasm, but that's just how he was. "I won't hit on you, I swear."
